Professional Christian ran business. I had two pump motors out and multiple leaks from the winter freeze. Pool was green from algae with lots of debris. Owner gave multiple tips on how to care for pool during winter and summer and offered multiple plans for regular pool maintenance to meet my budget. No hidden charges. Previous quote from another business was twice the amount. Business owner always obtained permission before performing any work and work was done right away. Pool was sparkling in less than 48 Hrs. Bryan Hand and his crews did an outstanding job from start to finish; A in all categories. The only reason for the NA on price is I did not get multiple bids for comparison. I've used Handcrafted Pool Care for service in the past and had complete confidence that Bryan would give me the best product possible at a fair price. In addition to the categories already rated above I would add that there was never any pressure to do more than we were comfortable doing. After 16 years the pool was showing its age; tile separating, brick coping cracking, pitted plaster, and stained decking. Bryan offered different options of repair at various price points. Some issues were more urgent than others. In the end, we decided to do the complete remodel and we're so happy we did. I can honestly say the pool looks even better than it did when it was brand new!

Bryan is one-of-a-kind when it comes to pool contractors. We had four different bids for a major pool resurfacing including new tile, change in plaster type, new pool wiring and lights, rebuilding the spa step, new spa blower, and mastic. While Bryan's bid was 2nd highest of the four, paying the extra was so well worth it for us. He kept his promises, stayed in touch every day via phone call or text, was always here when his sub-contractors showed up, and whenever new or unexpected issues showed up on the job, he always tried to suggest all possible alternatives to save expenses when we wanted or needed to. He has 15+ year positive relationships with his sub-contractors (plaster, stone, electrical, etc.) and when something comes up unexpectedly, like rain or cold weather, his subs are always willing to work with him on the spur of the moment basis. We took bids from several companies for a full in-ground pool remodel of our 18K gal in-ground gunite with a curved wall water feature. Bryan, the owner of Handcrafted Pools, came out to do the estimate and review the project with us. His cost estimate came in between the high and low marks, but his knowledge, professionalism and friendliness were far above par compared to other companies. The estimate was highly detailed and easy to understand compared to all other bidders. Once we accepted the bid, work started in about 3 weeks, which we thought was fair. Bryan made sure we were constantly informed of what part of the project was starting when, and correctly estimated when each part would be completed (demolition, re-tiling, re-plastering, etc.). All crews showed up on time and the quality of work was excellent. From start-to-finish, the entire project was complete in under two weeks and within our budget with no cost overruns. We cannot be more pleased with the result.
